See, I don't drive and so I never really get at the steering wheel.
My mind takes every opportunity to go wandering, so it's hard to limit it
to a certain item.

Funny how the world turns...
Driving to a leaving, knowing this is last time I will share space
with this person, in these bodies...watching the miles slide under
the windscreen, and allowing thoughts to wander and alight where
they needed to...
Preparing a scenario in my mind's eye, visualising what it would
look like..
And being clueless to the reality...
And what a different journey home, night miles, invisible...not a
thought, not a steering wheel in sight.
Still, it is hard to process and speak to the steering wheel, about
what it was, and what I may have said differently.
Or what I didn't need to do differently.
I even sat in the van for a time this morning, thought it may help
me process things a little easier...
I love driving...and the places the steering wheel takes me...even
when parked in the street.
