Used to go every Sunday on my bike to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Jugglers, mime artists, performers of every sort. Sitting in the centre drinking coffee, eating cake and wishing ....

Then I would go home and get out my sax and practice really hard.

As I am near London now, I must do it again.

what about underwater ... fish/mammals

Mantas are very intelligent animals.

They are not aggressive and you can get close enough to touch them (But dont)

I was sitting at 6 metres in the Similan Islands (Thailand) and I saw a squadron of them approach me.

The visability got really low as they blacked out the sun, and just as they flew over head of me, they did a sharp turn upward and used my exhaled bubbles as a method of tickling their undersides.

I just slowed my breathing down and they continued to use my air until the largest one flew off ... I realised I had been sat in the same place for 10 minutes while this display was going on!

The mantas that you see, do they have tails?

just to clarify ....

All undersea animals are dangerous and should be treated with huuuuge amounts of respect.

Do not attempt to touch any undersea animal unless you are COMPLETELY aware of its behaviour patterns.

REMEMBER : YOU ARE NO LONGER TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN WHEN YOU ARE UNDERWATER!!!

From above they appear to....they look like weird flying saucers wide and in big mobs....my son has swum/dived, with/near them....

My brother got stung by a ray, whilst surfing, no idea what kind, in the chest, reminiscent of another australian recently....same result, but rescusitated..

hence the fear.
