This is a ? in general. Not an advice thread.

Do you :-

1/ Tell the person to their face?

2/ Tell them over the phone?

3/ Tell them by way of a sms msg?

or

4/ Respond to a text msg asking wot's going on by replying with a prank phone call?

Your input would be greatly appreciated guy's.

has to be 1 - hardest thing to do but best not to run away, and all the other options seem like the easy way out, and yes i ended a 9 year relationship by telling them to their face and it wasn't easy but i did it and i got through it and we are still friends.....wine

always to there face..... try when posssible to sit them down and be adult about it and honest and calmly tell them how you feel why you think the relationship is failing and tell them in all things considered it would be best to go your seperate ways. ( so far, fingers crossed it has worked for me with passed experiences)

I agree with all that has been posted regarding this issue, I guess everyone has their own way of ending relationships, due to wot ever reasons and circumstances or situation the relationship may of ended! but I agree the civic way face to face would be the best way forward but then again wot if you are in a long distant relationship? I guess that's not always the easiest option.
As long as the message is delivered clear to both parties I guess that's all you can do.wink
