I used to be proud, but now I feel more embarrased to be British, our Government is pants, all they seem to care about is big pay packets for themselves, this country has gone to the dogs, I agree that the judicial system is weak, if prisons weren't such holiday camps then we wouldn't get so many repeat offenders.

Dean Koontz & James Herbert are two of my fav authors also, although i admit I haven't acytially read one of theirs fora while, seem to be into reading a lot of true life stories at the moment - kinda make you appreciate your wellbeing, plus I couldn't read a book then watch a movie, I'd spend all the time comparing the two which would ruin it
Hi Lily, no I met him off another, he'd actually mailed me a couple of times last year offering to hook me up with one of his old school friends (girl) as i didn't know anyone in Shrewsbury, we'd exchanged a couple of mails throughout the year but didn't actually start talking until a couple of months ago, he's actually a really nice guy so i'm beaming :-) woo hoo

Well being on the receiving end of dating someone who was also window shopping all i can say is give it a chance - hold fire on everything as it doesn't seem fair to be looking while you are with someone, if you think there will always be someone better than who you are with then you'll always be looking - give it time and see ho wit goes
Personality is definitely a must, i like someone easy on the eye, not drop dead gorgeous (wouldn't get one of those anyway lol) but personality and humour makes someone look very attractive to me
yeah it is isn't it, i got out of bed this morning and decided i had to do something so I searched the net for places to walk, found a nice waterfall in wales to visit, then had to try and find a friend to go with.....wasn't easy though, good job i stayed friends with my ex because everyone else was busy.... if you ever get really desperate Ophelia give me a shout
I know what you mean, I'm on holiday now woke up yesterday with no plans, lost all motivation and felt really bored, I mean I can only take so much of my own company lol, when i get bored i get lonely and it just goes from there so i just try to keep myself busy and give myself little goals
I think I have got to the stage where i'm not that bothered any more i just hope I can get it back when i do meet someone really nice :-), think maybe i should joined the convent instead on internet dating - it really takes it out of you lol think my one word should have been 'muppet'
has to be 1 - hardest thing to do but best not to run away, and all the other options seem like the easy way out, and yes i ended a 9 year relationship by telling them to their face and it wasn't easy but i did it and i got through it and we are still friends.....
