Why would you care
I remember feeling this same way when I first joined a dating site ... but that was a few years ago and I don't think it was as a common a way to connect with people as it is today. The only people who have recognized me - are the ones that I've met in person that I had a meeting set up for ..... otherwise I've never had anyone ask me if I'm on Connecting Singles.
I personally think that you are fearful over nothing - what's the worst that can happen?? They say hello and admit to seeing you on the site ... obviously they are members of the same site and single as well. Who knows - you may meet a new friend. Relax and enjoy yourself.
