Have u read the book "The secret" (19)

My son has it and read it and was impressed enough to make me promise to read it. I haven't found it yet but i will. I promise, John

I haven't read it yet but have heard loads of comments on it from a few g/friends who think it's the next best thing to sliced bread.......

my thing is....isn't that the way our parents taught us to live??? to do as you say and say as you do????

funny how someone had to come up with a book for all of us to be reminded.......

My parents always said this: YOU are the maker of your own destiny.....in all that you do, the people that you keep, and the things that you ultimately decide on.....

kinda like the book no???

My girlfriend just read it and she was excited. She is a believer and wants me to read it also. I can hardly wait. Please remember I don't know what this book is about, but I can tell you that since I said goodbye to my negative partner- good things have been coming my way. I am attracting positive because I am positive again. So I think that part of the "magic" is really believing in yourself and thinking positive. All my choices got me to this point, so I can choose to make different choices to change my life.

But if this book is anything like that, I am more than interested. It never hurts to read something new and learn something new.

Exactly correct donnacalabrese, but this book shows you how to use the tools and understand how to get on the path we all have the tools and ability the key is to not "add a riple"

I saw the dvd and I was actually pretty disappointed as it comes across as extremely corny. I believe that there is much wisdom in what they are talking about, but I also believe that it could have been produced in a more professional manner. It was disappointing in the sense of it also trying to appeal to the "worldly" view of success. ie. more money, the diamond necklace or ring that you desire. Life is so much more than this extremely narrow view and it struck me as one of those late-night infomercials. Spend your money on the book and have everything that you desire come to be. Claiming that this is such a "secret" seems farfetched at least and that it's been hidden and not revealed is extremely corny at best.

Anyways I'm not too interested in reading the book after viewing this dvd, but I did come across "Law of Attraction" which was written by Michael J. Losier in 2003 .... I just started reading it today. Hopefully it will be more down to earth and practical and not the "hollywood" version.

Maybe "the secret" was made that way to give examples of what it is all about....But I do appreciate the effort they made to put all this together.

I have read and watched the DVD many times and what is so weird I always find a new understanding of certain scenes
