In answer to this thread. I had my purse stolen out of my vehicle when I was in the gym. Yeah, the purse was covered. A tool was used on the drivers side, passenger door cuz there were marks and stuff. Anyway...felt violated. Everything was in there but the kitchen sink. EVERYTHING. When approaching our cars (was with my girlfriend) noticed 2 young men sitting in a yukon type vehicle and when it clicked we were going to our cars next to them they high tailed it out of the parking lot. I was going to stop at the store and couldn't find my purse...oh gosh. Then I began to think and make sure I had it when leaving work...ya know...second guessing yourself.
I got home and called the police and they came to my home. I had to cancel all my credit cards etc.
Next thing Home Depot called...yup they charged $300 on one of the cards....then Target from my other credit card...anyway over $1300. What a mess. Took me almost a yr to get it squared away and my credit back ok. Its a horrible feeling. About 5 wks ago someone stole $22 out of my purse located in a drawer at my work station. They also stole money from 2 other people. Dont know what is happening to society. Thanks for letting me vent about this.

What would I do? *pondering* Well...call the cops for one thing.
Then I am sure I would yell and say some not so nice words for a bit! Cry somewhere in there, I'm sure and then....and somewhere toward the end of my "fit"...I would be exhausted and do my best to turn the negatives into positives. Material possessions and/or "things" can be replaced...people, on the other hand cannot. I have lost plenty of both in my lifetime to understand that everything is temperal. I would count my Blessings, pick myself up, dust myself off and continue to live. And that....is my honest answer that you requested.
