What's the deal with Instant Messaging? (7)
I personally like to IM with a gentleman I'm honestly interested in. Its easier to hold a conversation, it is private, and you can get to know people a lot better, I think.

I agree with you about IM. I had doubts at first, but it is amazing how much is conveyed about a person just through an electronic conversation. More so than e-mails back and forth

After just getting a first message or a flower, I've found that men immediately give their IM addresses and ask if I'd like to chat.
I just find that IM is great when you know the person. But to IM with a stranger...
Am I missing something here? Am I naive?
Would like to hear what you have experienced and whether it is a good way to get to know someone.
By the way, this is my first thread!!
