I think as we go further into the future less imagination will be required to play with toys.
In the past we would have to move the parts on the toys ourself. We would do the voices for them in our head we would interact the toys together in an imaginary setting we thought up. Now toys have much more detail, move more and more on their own... have larger and larger vocabulary... Some toys even interact with each other when they are in proximity of each other. Even settings are created for children since more toys are spinning off of TV shows and movies.
was a long time before my Gi Joe had his own cartoon show.
My Superhero toys came from comics that were available for me to read.. not Movies that pushed said toys.
