You know.. I have had that problem with most of the men.. I am new on this sight but on other sights I received many e-mails.. I reply to them all but when I send one out and do not get a reply for a month or so.. it tells me that they got involved with someone else and lost interest so I never reply back then... After all i figure if a man just stopped writing to me then after a month he decides to give me a few minutes of his time.. he is not the one for me. No one is that busy always unless he has gotten involved with a women that is keeping him busy. In that case... a honest letter saying hey.. I found someone that I am interested in getting to know and it is not you.. that would be the honest thing to say.
Dude these dating sites are mainly for women to choose what guy they want. Your job as a man is to put yourself out there and show what you got as a man Email girls and be sweet maybe your saying something wrong
Well Randy... Personally, when I receive an eMail from a member on this site, the first thing I do is take a look at their profile. I usually check to see what he is saying about himself, or what is interests are... also what he's looking for. If he seems like someone I'd be interested in I then look at his height and age (which are secondary to me). Overall, if I like his profile I'll at least send a reply to request more information. (Because, you're right, that is the courteous thing to do.)
On the other hand, a lot of guys don't take the time to really read our (women's) profiles. I know I have listed the some of the traits I'm looking for in a man, and when a man contacts me without possessing any of those traits it bothers me a little. I kind of feel disregarded from the start if a guy won't even take the time to read a little about me before he shoots me an eMail.
Maybe being a little more sure that you fit into the category of what a particular woman is looking for would help you get more immediate responses.
