Hello Calee, and welcome to Alabama. I don't really have much insight on how to meet new people. If I did surely I would not still be looking for someoen special to spend my time with. I really don't understand these dating sites. They are here to get to meet people and try to find someone. Well I have noticed someone will message you and say they would like to get to know you. Well it seems they all send a few messages back and forth, flirt alot, then dissapear. I really don't understand this. It can make a guy wonder what is wrong with him. I am sorry for rambling on. I just want to say welcome to Alabama and I would be more than happy to chat with you sometime. You can never have to many friends.

Hi and welcome to Bama.....I live in the Anniston area don't exactly know where Enterprise is though??? Wish they had some kind of good meet up get togethers on here? You know like meeting somewhere everyone going out to eat and maybe catch a good movie or something?

I too am new to Alabama, and I recently found out that Montgomery (where I am) is considered the ghetto of Alabama and I also found out I'm in the worst neighborhood of Montgomery right now, but aside from all that, I'm only here for about 2 month until I finish up my job, so if your looking for as short term possibly long term/travel, or just willing to show me about for my short stay hit me up.

Well sir, you are sorely misinformed. Montgomery is not the ghetto in any way. Go to Selma, that's considered the ghetto of Bama.....

I'll agree calling Montgomery "ghetto" is a bit much, but it sure ain't what it used to be (lived there for 7 years and watched it plummet)! Maybe calling it "almost ghetto" or "partially ghetto" or even "ghetto'ish". Bottom line is, I'm from Cleveland Ohio originally, I know what ghetto is lol! Montgomery's close, but not there yet! (Selma on the other hand yes!)

But getting back to the topic at hand -
Hello Calee welcome to Alabama. I as I was saying am too a fellow yankee, transplanted to the south. Best advice I can tell you is, wherever you met people before in the North, you can meet them down here the same way. Be it out and about, or on places such as CS and so forth.
Good luck to you!

Have you tried...That is a way to find like minded people with similar interests...hiking...going out to eat...writing..etc.

If you like to dance there are places that host dances - that is also a good way to meet people...

good luck and welcome to Alabama!teddybear

Welcome to Alabama Calee.

I go thru Enterprise on my way to Panama City Beach. And when a friend goes to pick up a truck load of peanuts in Enterprise, i sometimes ride with him.

As far as finding friends in the area, can't help you there. I'm in extreme northeast AL, a little to far. But good luck in your search..
