i am told that area 51 is patrolled constantly and if you are caught near the "no go" zone then you are firstly warned then if you try again you are arrested. is that true?

I haven't been around there in some time, you use to be able to climb the mountain adjacent to the base and look around, but now they have electronic sensors and signs posted that deadly force will be used, Im not sure on the exact wording, but you get my drift.

Im retired, I just camp and fish, and Hike.

it is quiet for the most part, but as with every place there are things that happen which you never hear about.
I thought some of those were humorous.

My Bet is That The Rogue Cop, know more of Nevada then I do...
I bought my first home In State Line Nevada in 1984 for $63,000.00 it was a 6 bdrm 4 1/2 bath in a sizplex at 9,000 at the top of Kingbary Grade. overlooking The Carson Valley...
It was fun if you like Ski Bunnies all winter long and a nice quiet hood in the summer, But there were little thing's that are best to remember in Nevada...
When I lived there all Recreational Drugs were a fellony, so even of you got busted being in the same place as drugs , you were looking at The Carson Prison as your new home for at least 2 years and 3 years probation, wich means that you can't leave Nevada to seek gainfull employment...
Nevada is a Right to work State, that means if you do your work and stay clear of The Law Dogs, then they will stay clear of you...
Nevada is where I stopped Drinking and using Drugs, I did not get busted there, it was just a place where there was way too much of everything, so I stopped and since I had a Clean Record, The Sherriff gave me a Concealed Weapons Permit
and I went to work for Harrahs as internal security...
Since I did not want to drink or smoke or be around Drunks and Druggies, that left me to The Jesus Freaks in The Chruches and they drank just as much and used all the same drugs as the Dopers, but they were Christian Drunks and Druggies...
Go Figure, So I took to hanging out with The GUN Freeks, The Been there Done That Straight, Clean Christian COPS OF The Great Silver State, though it's been over 20 years since I came back home most of those guy's still brig their families down and visit me at least once a year , So I tend to think well of Nevada People... 
Just one thing one has to remember, when you enter Nevada and that is That you are no longer in California and some of The LAWS are best observed, NOT IGNORED!!!
