One beautiful fall day,driving to my destination..
Thoughts of you cross my mind,smiles of memories..
How we would walk hand and hand through the leaves..
Thinking how beautiful and not wanting it to end..
Glancing by the roadside,was a cabin,facing the bend..
Slowing and with such an attraction,a picturesque man,
was setting there..
He slowly and rhythmic motion,was setting in an old rocking chair..
His frail hand rose to great me as I approached..
A smirkish grin came across his face,"Mary","No Sir"..
"Your not Mary","No","I'm not",his head fell to his chest..
The old rocking chair regained it's previous Motion..
I couldn't help but ask,"Sir are you ok?"in a very caring way..
"Yea",he relied,"I forgot,Mary's with God in heaven is
where she stays"..
"we went for a walk on aday like this,one autumn,to see
colors blend in"..
"My Mary caught a chil,never saw spring or her roses again"..
I kissed his cheek,a tear fell as I left,Knowing I
couln't look back..
Driving off, I tryed to imagine life without you,Oh,that just can't happen..
No more autumn walks,smiles,or laughter,never sharing,
not having you there..
I said,a prayer,"God,please".."let me,I beg,Please,
Let me"..
"Be there,when your an old man and in an old
rocking chair"..

This is very beautiful, and I can picture it in my mind.
Having someone to grow old with, and sit beside of in an old rocking chair is a really good thought.
