What was your favourite childhood memories?
Was it watching...tv programmes like Lost in Space, Lassie, Pufnstuff and the Bugaloos.. .. When you finally got colour tv, or how amazing it was when TV remotes, Video players were when they came into fashion. Did you use to go down the shop and buy hot freshly baked spicy raisinbread on a sunday and nibble the edges before you got home and you knew you would be in trouble but it was just worth it? Did you use to play outside till it got dark and no one worried about where you were..
Did you use to belong to Brownies or Girl Guides and it was a really big deal to earn a badge. Fish n Chips was the weekly treat or you would get a pie and a donut for your lunch if mum had forgotten to make your lunch. Did you use to go camping at the beach and spend all day swimming and finding starfish and guppies and playing in the rockpools till you got so burnt and peeled and couldnt go out in the sun again till the next few days, then you would do it all over again? You did folk dancing at school and thought it was cool... When a boy fancied you he would ask you out to the pictures and your parents would drop you off and you would meet outside then get picked up again afterwards. What are some of your memories that seem hilarious now you look back at them or seem kind of cool that life was so simple back then.peace comfort aaah the good old days...yay

Oh the memories BBW. Nice pic by the way!

My favourite childhood memory is of my brother and me being pulled around the loungeroom floor in a cardboard box by my grandad in NZ. Don't know why but it's something that sticks with me as it was full of laughter. I think I was 6 at the time.
