Don't hide who you are and where you are from. Be proud that you are a good example of a Russian woman. The scammers are usually very obvious. Besides, you can't hide the fact that you are Russian because you still type with a bit of an accewnt ;)
Don't appologize for them because they aren't sorry for their own actions. And a lot of scammers are really men using a woman's picture, and they usually aren't even from the country they claim to be from.
