I dont think any of them are players , but if I can speak honsetly at lot of people on this site jin to find the perfect of perfectness is that exists person, i think to find a person that meets your requirments is good , but that does not mean you would match personality perfect....you may be perfect in likes and dislikes with each other ,htey have the right to say no its up to us to get over the rejection of that perfect partner that could of been and to be prepared that there will be more friends made than partners..friends is not a bad thing , and people that have been hurt before look to the site for the ideal perfectness and some just wish to start as friends to avoid being hurt again .i think we set our standards too high which we have a right to do, but then so does everyone else...i think making friends is a good thing, friends have been know to flourish, into better unexpected things..who knows one day..patience is a virtue not a lot of us have when it comes to our own feelings. anyway I was always told you kiss many frogs before meeting your prince, vice versa for men of course.. keep trying dont give up

25 years ago, before the internet was popular, I responded to an ad in a grocery store tabloid,....we became great friends and I actually attended her wedding last year. 21 years ago, I placed an ad,....got several replies, and ended up marrying because of it, even with me being in Alberta and her being in the Gatineau - and then three years ago, thanks to the internet, SHE found someone else! roflmao!

My brother, divorced for a couple of years, tried a few sites, and now is seriously dating a wonderful gal for over eight months. Myself, nothing serious, but I have truly made a few great friends!!

I guess it depends on your expectations. Those seeking a "relationship" who only find friendship, may be a bit disappointed,...but if you begin by seeking friendship, then how can you lose if you make a friend? And, should something arise from that friendship, then consider yourself doubly blessed.
