I have found that people have diffrent ideas of what honesty is! The woman seeks honest man! Then asks a question. When suprised by the answer, seems to fade away. If you seek honesty, you should know what the word means! HONESTY: free from deceit, upright, truthful, not cheating, open and frank. Is this not what honesty is?

Nice meeting you! great smile..good luck with your search.
My thoughts on a good foundation to a relationship.. These are just mine... 1).similar likes 2).communication 3).Honesty 4).respect 5).sharing things with each other 6).concern for the others feelings 7).enjoy what you do together 8).kisses..lots of hugs....for no reason at all 9).giving a 150% of yourself to make it work happily 10).and except who there are,let them be themselves
First of all, if you can't be honest with yourself you will never be able to be honest with others.
I respect someones honesty more than someone trying to tell me things that aren't true to spare my feelings. Whether I ask for it or not, it could be a good thing someone was honest with me about something. Maybe I didn't realize something about myself even that I am glad someone pointed out.
I even respect when someone is being honest about not being honest..lol So.... they made a mistake. In order for them to tell you the truth eventually, means they are being not only honest with you but to themselves too.
Honesty isn't always true either. Someone can give you their honest opinion and be dead wrong. I would rather hear what they have to honestly say because that gives me an idea of who they are.
Now if you are honest with someone and they use it against you all the time then they just showed they honestly do not care.
Wow, great reply, Lene. I am still finding ways that I was wrong with my ex. My deceased and I talked through so many things because of the things that I learned from my ex. My ex and I were married two times and the second time we learned more things that we didn't like about each other, lol. Sometimes, I even think I am turning into my ex which really scares me, lol. But then like they say, "if I would have known then what I know now" knowing me I would still make the same stupid mistakes or different ones, lol. When I was first on cs I was in so much of a rush but now I like learning for its own sake. I love poetry for its own sake. I love love for its own sake. I really love drama, too, lol. I think it is amazing how we all have our differences but share things in common, too. I like your last sentence best and think it is so true. If you are honest with someone like they want you to be with them and then they can't accept it then its their problem because they asked you to be honest with them.
to me honesty is simple, dont lie...doesnt matter if they dont like whats said, but ya gotta put yourself out there and so does the other person...doesnt matter if it doesnt make me/them look or feel good, thats how we decide if that true person is one we want to spend our time with, no hard feelings....i am who i am and a lie dont change that, just makes it harder for someone else to know who that really is.....

Honesty is such a lonely word Everyone is so untrue Honesty is hardly ever heard And mostly what I need from you
I can always find someone To say they sympathize If I wear my heart out on my sleeve But I don’t want some pretty face To tell me pretty lies All I want is someone to believe
Honesty is saying what people want here without lying. Telling the truth about something that people doesn´t want to here is not honesty but a confession.
