I havent heard of a law that prohibits you from living with someone else....

Over here there is now only one reason......
irrevocable break down of the relationship...
makes things so much cleaner...

True...the only difference here with adultry is you can divorce them quicker...3 months vs. 1 year...otherwise visitation priveledges etc. remain the same!

here in the states Va..it takes 1 year with a cild and 6 months without... and in the stae of Va thier is no legal seperation... I have a friend who is going through a divorce and he wants to live with his girlfriend but he doesnt want his visitation taken away because of it...I told to make sure and talk to a lawyer...but I thought someone may have gone through the same situation..you guys are great ...I really enjoy being here...in these forums..

I really don't think in any state living with someone would effect visitation unless the person posed some danger to the child or children involved!

There are laws still on the books that would shock the majority of the population. Laws "long forgotten"...you would think NEVER enforced but when it comes down to it, if the law hasn't been changed or abolished, it can be used against (or for) a party involved in legal proceedings.
