This was a good company to work for. The pay was OK and the employees were treated with respect.
I had always imagined the pleasure of driving a truck down the open road blasting rock music, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. The reality was different though... the stress level was high and the work was dangerous. Had I been a younger man I might have braved it out for six or eight months. Instead, I gave my notice after about seven weeks.
