Hey Joe,
Yer still young, so you have much to learn, and lots of time to learn it in.
We tend to put women on pedesatals ( sp? ), and find that alot of them are less deserving of that then the guys that dropped them the first time.
There's no right or wrong. No one wants to be alone, so we do what we can to lure a possible partner, to learn if that one is the right one for us or not. Some are lucky and pick right the first time, some, like myself, take many and many takes to get it right. Me? I STILL haven't gotten it right. That's pretty much the reason why so many singles websites are doing so well and are so well popluated.
All you can do is keep trying, and not lose hope. Ain't easy mind you, as I can tell you from experience that sometimes it's just easier to give up. But, to give up is to be alone and lonely. So, we pick ourselves up and we forge on.... and on...... and on...... ad naseum.
Let her go, focus on something else for a while... and then go back to finding someone else for you.

Well two days ago, I was reassigned to unmarked/plainclothes detail in the city. Well I was posted up at one of our local hotels to catch a burglar that has been terrorizing out city. Well we did not find him, BUT we found my girlfriend cheating on me in the parking lot. I really cant talk about it with my coworkers, you know the tough cop thing. I just don’t get it, I did everything right, I am romantic. I send flowers, I do candle light dinner and stuff like walks on the beach. It seems like the guys who cheat and treat there girls like crap the woman cant get enough of them. Well, I can’t seem to find a faithful woman. Is there such thing as a faithful woman?

First of all let me just say that SUCKS and I am really sorry that she is giving the rest of us women a bad name. Coming from a very faithfull woman, let me tell you that there are good girls out there for you good guys. I just left a "bad boy" after being married for 6 years....sometimes it takes a while to learn your lesson. Maybe her problem is that she wants the comfort of being with the good guy but likes the excitement of the bad boy. Just make sure you aren't such a good guy that you end up a door mat. I know I want a guy that I can trust and depend on but I still like a good arguement every once in a while!

Im really sorry that happend to you. There are some of us that feel the same way you do. We are the good guys and we get crapped on. Every man/woman is not a cheater. I see those people who are cheaters as weak and pathedic. Be proud that you are not one of those and hold your head high that you have always done the right thing by not being a cheater.
