mas_55houston, Texas USA1 Threads 8 Postscan i get some advice here...does dating someone who lives out of town really work as far as a serious relationship..i tried it for 6 months and it seemed toward the end to just fade away its completly over and it was the first time i ever dated someone who lived out of town....so can i hear from you'll as to yes it can and has worked or no it can't work...right now i feel i'll never do it again....just asking thanks
yes it can but takes alot of dedication, commitment, correspondance-etc.
I dont think any amount of dedication and correspondence can keep it going. It will fade unless you at least try to see each other on a regular basis. A relationship should consist of meaningful contact with a real person, not with a computer monitor and a telephone. I have tried it before and it never seems to last. It has always ended up being a short term thing. *M*
