The dispute of “I'm Right, You're Wrong” has caused many couples to break up because of unresolved conflicts.
Is it very important to you, that you have to be right and have the last word even though you’re aware that your relationship can be on the line to destruction?
having three children of different ages starting at 14 and down I have realized I am not always right and I have to listen to the other person before coming to any conclusion and that compromising makes things much happier for everyone
No, having the last word is extremely unneccessary for me. There is no right or wrong in an arguement and everyone loses in a fight. Picking your battles wisely and knowing when to say something and when to say nothing is crucial in the art of compromise. You can say something and run as good of a chance at ruining a relationship as the same as saying nothing. Compromise is the most element that has to be incorporated if one is to seek resolution.
