This is a song that I wrote just after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
"The Endlless Quest" Verse 1 Today we've seen evil come forth from the sky Destroy our buildings, take thousands of lives. But no matter what they do, or how hard they may try They'll never succeed in making freedom die. chorus The quest of mankind is the right to be free free from all the terror, the hate, and tyranny. If it takes us forever to acheive our goal may God travel with us down that endless road. Verse 2 And now the cowards in their delusion they flee from the once sleeping giant in the land of the free back to their hell in the midst of their pain to hide from the giants arrival on the freedom train. Verse3 But we have some allies on our side from whom these cowards can never hide the nuclear bloodhounds will seek them out deep in their grottoes, we have no doubt. instrumental chorus verse 4 This is a war in which we must surely succeed to rid the world of their pestilence, their pain, and their greed and with the help from our friends from across the sea all nations who desire will be set free. chorus The quest of mankind is the right to be free free from all the terror, the hate, and tyranny and if it takes us forever to acheive our goal may God travel with us down that endless road chorus 2 America, America this land that we love the beauty that we cherish from God up above Lord take us in your arms and help us to see the world in our visions for eternity.
I was very angry, and sad when this event took place, so please excuse me for the use of the nuclear bloodhounds in my song. I would never condon the use of nuclear to settle anything..........Kelly
