Don't fish on lakes very much mainly stick to private farm ponds. :D biggest fish I have caught was a 6lbs largemouth bass on a chartuese road runner glittery tail with a spinner, water was clear with a little bit of chop. was fishing from the bank along side the dam and BAM! that lunker was hooked and not going anywhere but on my stringer hehe. I love catching bass, blue and channel cat, perch and bluegill, and my ALL TIME FAVORITE CRAPPIE!!!!

My younger brother Bob called me late one night and said

that he had driven by echo resevoir earlier in the day.

Bob said he saw bunches of fish jumping up out of the

water and he was excited to go try and catch some.

he asked me if I wanted to go to the resevoir the next

morning, and I agreed.

Bob came and got me and we went up to the resevoir.

we hiked down a big long hill, set-up, and began to fish.

almost immediately we both got strikes, we were both

stoked cuz our poles were bending way over with these

monster fish. Well once we reeled em in they were both

these big huge stinking carp!

"you dragged me all the way up here for carp?", i said

jokingly. Bob and i fished for a while longer and

we had fun fighting these huge trash fish to shore.

I brought one home to my kitchen and tried to give it to my

cats, they immediately set to trying to bury the carp

carcass in the linoleum floor. failing that, they all gave

me disgusted looks and ran away.

here is a good recipe for cooking carp:

preheat oven to 350 degrees

nail a carp to a piece of wood

place in oven, cook for about one hour

throw away the carp and eat the wood

enjoy...
