Toadstool tap-dance In silver moonlit glade. Shaking silver bodies A glamour they have made. Pixies pirhouette with posies And a lizard slowly moseys, With a mouse in leather saddle Heading for a mock battle, Beneath dandelion explosions And dewy morning sorties Ants and creepy spiders, And dragon-flies and gliders, Hoarding flower-nectar, And watching as a spectre Crawls across the midnight stage, Prancing, posing, mimicking a rage.
Nature has a magic, seen Only from the corner of your eye, And hidden by your reason, Magic is in season, only when You dream in sleep at night. It is there but adults don't care Wondering where their bread will come, And children laugh and play, they see The way things sparkle and shine, Even such drab, dingy souls As yours, and mayhap, mine.

In silver moonlit glade.
Shaking silver bodies
A glamour they have made.
Pixies pirhouette with posies
And a lizard slowly moseys,
With a mouse in leather saddle
Heading for a mock battle,
Beneath dandelion explosions
And dewy morning sorties
Ants and creepy spiders,
And dragon-flies and gliders,
Hoarding flower-nectar,
And watching as a spectre
Crawls across the midnight stage,
Prancing, posing, mimicking a rage.
Nature has a magic, seen
Only from the corner of your eye,
And hidden by your reason,
Magic is in season, only when
You dream in sleep at night.
It is there but adults don't care
Wondering where their bread will come,
And children laugh and play, they see
The way things sparkle and shine,
Even such drab, dingy souls
As yours, and mayhap, mine.
