very strange - has anybody ever had a post disappear from a thread ??? (48)

Yes, I have experienced a post being removed from a thread. It was a long time ago and in the UK Forums........

Hi Christina, im sorry to labour the point here but usually, when something gets pulled by the mods, they leave a note saying 'this post removed by mods' - it is just not there - no trace - it is strange !

It usually has to be an outrageously abusive post, as with the one I experienced (it wasn't from me, I hasten to add, it to was posted TO me) but if you say there was nothing wrong with it.... I am unclear as to why.
Bear in mind though, Trish, if you do contact Admin..... you won't always get a response.
