Hey its me again if you remember last time I posted. So this is how it is I hate the state I live in and I have no luck here at all. So I want to leave, but not sure where to go or start. I have family back in New York state where my uncle, aunt, grandfather, and couple cousins live. The other state I want to go to California for some reason and presue a job or career. Maybe if I go to the place where the studios are and get a job. Not sure what the name is, but you know what im talking about. I rather just freeze myself for 50 or 100 years and see where I am and whats been going on I bet I have a better chance then. I have been thinking about something and i'm questioning myself of "who am I". Not sure because is this how life goes, then I don't want to live anymore. So guys need advice of what to do because I have no clue and i'm at the bottomless pit?

well, if you ask me, life's journey is always about the quest to "find out who you are." I don't think that ever ends. I think it's more about finding something that you WANT to do instead of concentrating on what you DON'T want to do. If you want to move and feel there are better opportunities for you, then by all means do that..but go with a plan first. Don't just get up enough money to live for a few months and go with a dream because that's more than likely a crap shoot. Find out what you like, perhaps get a little schooling in a field you might like or a trade you enjoy, and find a job before you move so that you are moving toward something instead of running away from something. You are young. You have the whole world in the palm of your hand and it seems like you have ambition. Everyone gets down sometimes and I understand the frustration, but nothing ever gets done while you sit and watch life go by. You need to come up with a plan. What interests you? What do you want to do? And then you need to find out how to go about that. Only you know what is right for you, but don't be afraid to work hard for it and make sacrifices. Good Luck!

You said you had family back in New York. Are they a support system for you or do they create more problems?
If you feel that you're at the bottom of a pit, it might be helpful to find a mental health clinic just to get some assistance. They won't find you a job, but maybe they can give you some insight into why you feel the way you feel. Most people feel "directionless" at sometime in their life.
Probably more than they would acknowledge.
Certainly nothing wrong with having a dream, but developing a plan to achieve that dream would be helpful. Just going to California hoping to find something may be a big disappointment.
If you've felt like you're in a bottomless pit and don't see any daylight...get some help, ie; some counseling. There's a lot in life to live for....sometimes it's just difficult to see. I'm sure others would agree.
A year from now life probably be so much better. Keep that in mind.
Without a few valleys we can't appreciate the mountains.

Good luck buddy~
