bourbon: Easy going, laid back and big heart is all good. Exceptional looks and perfect body will help your cause too!

Kids are a burden that guys shy away from and having an ex popping in and out is an annoyance that guys don't particularly want. And you wonder why things go downhill when you tell a guy that there are kids and an ex to contend with!

You can't leave your past in the past when there are kids involved.

Sure, some guys will still be interested in you... but the numbers are declining and will undoubtedly continue to do so.

I don't state in my profile that I don't want someone with kids because I don't even want someone. Relationships are outdated and seriously impact on a man's personal space and lifestyle.

Women had their liberation back in the 1970's.... NOW IT'S THE MENS TURN

Life is good

Enjoy

funloving33: Here`s one for ya

Why do men say they want an easy going girl laid back big heart ect ... then when you say you have kids and an ex things go down hill
yes ok they have been there done that befor .

But why let the past judge whats in front of you . we are all different . just because you may have a bad time with one person this dose not mean you will the next . The past is called the past because thats where it belongs .
HMMMMmmmm who is going to bite.................................lol
TO all you men if you dont want someone with kids then put it in your profile ....

Avoiding all the other comments.

Because somewhere inside they do.

The time frame is very important though. Too soon after seperation and they are stil comparing you to her. Too long after seperation and they have learnt the freedoms of singledom and how to pull a woman for a one night stand / two week crush.

It is easy and readily done.

What is the timeline?.

Oh if it was that easy. It varies by the person their personality and life experiences.

Yes we welcome kids. But those kids depend on how they have been raised and how they adapt, and how that interact with us. It is not a two way street in most cases.
So you have to meet him first. You have to decide how you feel about him first. Then you very very slowly introduce your children.

The Past is there to teach us. We need to keep looking back to ensure we don't make the same mistakes. Closing your eyes to the past leaves you reliving the same mistakes over and over again.
Seen it happen to many times to too many people. On a bigger scale where would the world be if we just closed our minds to last century. Where would the Aborigine, Maori, and American Indian be if we just forgot about how unjustly we treated them.
(These included for the sake of this argument only)
So the Past is not the past. It is a teaching tool. And how the teaching tool is applied is down to the individual.

But to end: If a guy runs after kids are introduced, There will be a reason and it won't always be the guys fault. The problem could be as much on her side of the fence. His running just avoids the confrontation.

dragondog4: Dear Relaxin : I am always up for debate. But as for The quote you responded to.

Please let me explain. The forums here are very slow.

My response was not to say thank you for agreeing with me.

But to say to a new poster thank You for responding. Its great to see new faces and all views are welcome.

I mean what good is looking for debate if everybody agrees with one another.

But again Thank You Relaxin for responding. Enjoy yourself here in the Forums as you seek that special someone.

Thanks Relaxin.
Maybe in the near future I will come back to a more hands on role in the forums.
Unfortunately not at the moment. It just doesn't appeal. But place a serious topical thread and I'll give you an opinion. (usually)
