guess he has long gone how are u today I am new to this site and like to get to know people around our country its pretty quite on here from what i have seen but nice to meet you too from st cair nsw
from st cair nswHiya - I'm new here too! Back in UK (sadly) now after just travelling round NZ for a couple of months with my 8 yr old son. We had a ball and plan to return next year for NZ Part 2 (skiing is our interest - we come out in our summer break/NZ winter) but Oz will be our next trip after that!

Hi kim nice to meet you sounds like your son and you had a great time in new zealand I lived there a long time ago and its most likely more excting travelling sounds like you might have went to the south island i didn't get down there only as far as wellington

I planned to tour North and South NZ Islands but got too waylaid by interesting things on North - so just spent 2 weeks on South - hence planned return trip next year to do it in 'reverse' i.e. fly in to South, ski, do stuff then fly out of North.
My son had a FAB time and can't wait to return.
We spent 4 days in Singapore on way out and then 8 days in Bali on way back which was VERY nice!!

sounds like you had a ball on your trip I have noticed lots of new zealands on here so you might meet up with someone from over there hope so it would be nice for u

There is two different places to chat into the one you are in is both ozzz and new zealand if you look to the top right hand corner there a international forrum and you are most likely to meet new zealand people on the au one kim

hi there I am just hanging out on the net but its getting time to cook for my son and I sometimes you just want to get take away this is one of those occassions we have just finished having our share of the rain you guys were having up north hope you aren't in the rain belt that seems to be up your way at the moment

Gorgeous.... I love the Blue Mountains - only been once and visited Jenolan (not sure spelling) Caves - like vegemite the cooler weather puts a rose in every cheek But beautiful you are very fortunate.
I am on the Sunshine Coast which is beautiful also - just the humidity in summer can be a bit taxing but that's part of living in Qld.
And yes we have had more than our share of rain always do on the coast - we don't have water restrictions here.... yet... unlike our inland neighbours which is never fair when they miss the good rains.
I am off to work tonight 10pm to 4am joy joy lol Third graveyard shift in a row and just want to sleep
