When the sun that you love shone upon my sleeping eyes with the warmth you feel in your heart yet causing me pain, did you close the blind?
Did the supper I cooked not please your palate enough to bring forth tender gratitude shown by calloused hands caressing dishes in a lather?
Was the wine I brought sweet enough to soften the edges of your day yet strong enough to sharpen the edge of the sword that is your lust?
If I loved you as much as I could, would it ever be as much as you loved me?

Seeing you again after all these years
Brought back old memories but also the tears
I wanted to hold you and never let you go
But I held back my words from telling you
How much I still loved you so.
With a tear in my eyes and a smile on my face
I felt once more your warm embrace.
You smiled and kissed me as the sadness set in
And deep in my heart I wondered.
Would I ever see you again.

I never imagined at such a young age,
You would die.

I never mean to question your love, because I know in my heart what I mean to you . I guess that when I act like I am unsure, all I am doing is asking you to hold me and tell me that you love me with all your heart.
