Honestly, I don't tbeleive there will be a rapture.
Look at the other things they believed in back when the bible was written..
the Earth was flat,
Stars were thought to be holes poked in a massive black curtain with light behind it,
Sea serpents/dragons,
Blood letting,
Keeping "it" in the family to make a stronger bloodline,
and lots more nonsense.
The Bible was written as a tool to control the masses and has been re-edited to that end many times over.

To respond and answer the author's forum question ... I believe it shall happen sooner than later. We're surely head'n down that path. Thank God it's not my call, or I wouldn't be write'n this. As for if we'll just wake up one morning
