My dear sister, bless her heart, is moving to England. She's also got a boyfriend there, and just the other day he was asking me for advice on how he should propose to her!
She's only a year older than me, and I'm terribly jealous, which is strange because I've never cared about the idea of getting married before. I've asked her boyfriend to find a brit honey for his girlfriend's spinster sister, but I think telling him what I'm looking for a guy feels too much like I'm trying to hook up with him. Blech.
Anyone who can relate? You know, your friends, family hooking up before you do?
It can be hard sometimes when you see the people around you hooking up and having less time for you while doing things with their mate. Ive seen it happen a few times lol. Just have to be happy for them and realise that your time will come also.If they're true friends they will find time to keep the friendship going. Just need to be patient and let the newness of the relationship settle, then theyll get back to normal. I don't see why telling him what you're looking for would look as if you're after him, you're just asking him to look around for you.
