I know, and I realized the irony of my own statement right after I posted it...which sucks because it blew the wind right outta my sails. But, ah well...we live and we learn.

how did you know the third guy was French??? Okay, grammar is one thing, but writing me a heartfelt poem-a very long wordy one-that declares undying love-and I've never seen you?? C'mon, give a girl a break here. Two of them were like that. I am supposed to say what to them? Love your poetry about me, a person you know nothing about, yet want to love forever? Can't do it. Thank them for their effort? Ever hear of copy and paste? Scammers? If someone wants to get to know you, they will start out slowly.
Otherwise I feel no mercy in the delete function. I am not here out of desperation, but rather to get to know someone internetly, then phonely, than lastly, in personly. You won't be seeing any threads from me devoted to the one I love that I talked to on the phone and met on the internet.

Of course you're right.....overly mushy mails, sudden declarations of love and bonding, it's all so inane.... ...but maybe I've spent too long on dating sites, and have become cynical....oh well, guys don't have the problem with mail-overload anyway.....when we get a mail, it's usually from our ex-girlfriends telling us to go get a life-.....

it's okay, I do understand. I did word that wrong, it wasn't about the spelling, although that was the entertaining part, it was more about the content that disturbed me. The spelling didn't help though
