My friends aren't really helpful because I am the only single one. I've been trying to keep my mind off of it, but is seems to not be working anymore. I am really missing a lot of things but mostly the companionship and closeness.
Jenny,remember being alone can someimes be better than having a mate.Don't go by 1st man interested in settling down,no desperation please.You will be unhappy later.Try joining singles gruops or activities.That way you are around othe singles,plus that man for you might enter your life.I am alone but not lonley.Not to say I don't want a husband,I'm always a 1 man woman.Until the right 1 puts a spark in my heart and butterflies in my tummy.I've met nice gentleman and a few who were not.I won't just settle though.If you ever have what I call"lonley attacks",your welcome to call me and we'll talk,laugh get your mind o other things.O couse you have to message me or im 1st.

What to do, what to do? Needless to say, if you dwell on it, it only seems to get worse. Catching up on much needed things like reading and hobbies help, but I understand that need for the companionship. Sometimes you have to spend more time exploring your own inner feelings to understand those that are missing. Might be a good time to consider taking some classes in the evening that will help you're own personal development as well as getting out among other singles. You never know who you might meet!
