I prefer to view people as who they are not where they are.
Of course, where they are has certain implications, and even limitations, with regard to meeting someone, but (forgive the cliche') at the end of the day , it's still about WHO they are.

I suppose it could be insensitive, but I think people may be curious about the culture more than anything.
Distance and location can make a difference I think, Riya... Not everyone can afford to travel long distances. I've heard that a lot on here.
As for me, even if I were sincerely looking, I'd keep it close to home. Fortunately, though...not everyone is like me. I've tried long distance relationships and for a variety of reasons they never worked out. From my experience, I've just "lived and learned."
You will find the right gentleman...I have NO doubts.

Some things arent the choices you made .. lot of things i reckon you can guess are just the way they are ..
Does any of this make any difference while condsidering someone ?
