I remember the peace I felt standing on my balcony in my hotel in Seefeld, Austria on the top of a mountain looking down the valley at Innsbruck. There was several feet of snow on the ground, and it was just beautiful.
I remember the smell of South Street Seaport - I don't think I will ever get that smell out of my head.
I remember eating a filet mignon at a restaurant in Germany/Austria that had a dairy attached to it - the cows would come up to the big window and watch you eat their cousin Vern.
I said Germany/Austria because it was near the border and I can't remember which side I was on.
