But I'm too fast.
It thinks it's smart,
So big and hairy,
Why does it dare me?
I move in space,
Persisting in my teasing,
For why should I be fleeing?
But now my many eyes witness,
A monstrous weapon fast approaching,
I see no hand, but with a great slam...
I have been wounded. Oh my!
If I only knew that this was the price,
To pay to stand on curried rice...
I really would not have.
Not even dared. But I must die,
Like any other of my kind.
Another untimely death,
For an insignificant insect,
That has left the world.
To be remembered only
as noone. But a fly.
