the pains of losing Daddy will always be with me...
& it saddens me to think of all he is missing & will miss...
Mom..our family...the chidren...great grandchildren...playing the Blues on his guitar from dusk into late at night...
watching wrestling on tv...
The grandson he helped raise is now a man...at 20..& serving in the Army.
But I hope that he still "sees".

they gently led him into Heaven's light.
The rain began and softly fell around him...
because every Angel in Heaven cried.
I touch what once belonged to him...
and sit curled up in is favorite chair.
But through my tears I question...
did I do enough, or not enough to keep him here?
In the minutes before they took him...
so suddenly that there was no time...
to tell him just how much he was Loved...
or even simply to say goodbye.
I held his hand so tightly in mine...
and prayed in desperation..."PLEASE DON'T GO!"
I thought that if I held him close to me...
the Angels couldn't possibly take him home.
But the Angels did come here today...
Daddy went to Heaven cradled upon their wings.
God was waiting there with open arms...
and all the Angels began to sing.
