It was a good movie....from a better book, written by Dennis Lehane. He wrote several with the two characters (the private investigators) - great books, all of them.

I really liked it. Recommended it to a friend, she didn't like it so much, and her husband wouldn't even watch it all. Some of the characters you just want to slap, but that's what it's about. It was sad, I enoyed it, but don't think I'd want to watch it again either. It was real well made and the acting was great.
