Nah - they cant Gilly, england and america outsourced all the manufacturing jobs to china - chinese people are doing a none interventionist thingy in Darfur which means that they are laying pipelines for oil and giving the corrupt government lots of dosh for the privilidge - the government there are living it up whilst the people subsist, mainly in refugee camps

Why dont the british and americans want to go up against the chinese - I really do not know - maybe its to do with the forthcoming olympic games - or maybe it is to do with autogenocide - who the heck knows..........

Dunno about the autogenocide thing Trish, it's a bit too vague, am still looking at imfo about it. The reason that the British and Americans don't go up against the Chinese is sheer numbers and firepower. It is easy to go and invade a country like Afghanistan or Iraq who cannot put up much resistance but the Chinese certainly can and I think that will never happen.

The most Interesting test of this is Taiwan. Lets see if the Chinese take it back and whether the Americans will honour their promise to protect it. I hope this will never happen and don't believe it will because as Albert Einstein said "I don't know what the third World war will be fought with, but the fourth will be fought with stones"

I think Obama or Hillary would offer up Taiwan to China to keep peace and to keep their constiuency happy. JMO


Besides, Americans like their wars fought much like a 2 hour mini-series.
