I let my light shine. “Rise and shine and give God the glory” is a refrain of a popular children’s joy song. As I awake to the new day ahead, I gratefully accept what is mine to do. I complete my work, my tasks, and my familiar duties with joy for life and in celebration of God’s purpose for me. I let my light shine for everyone I meet. In times of trouble, I turn to the light of God within, which reveals the blessings that are present. This sacred light illumines my course so that I have a clear view. Letting my inner light shine, I share my joy with all the people in my life. Everywhere I am, everywhere I go, I let my light shine. “No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”—Matthew 5:15-16

I just did a tickle 'aura' test - apparently my light shines quite brightly!

This is our purpose I think.... to shine our light on others
