I'm glad that this all ended well. One word of caution, though. Whenever you encounter an animal that is acting strangely or out of character, especially animals such as racoons or skunks, always be aware that this animal could be carrying a disease such as rabies. It is always a good idea to keep your distance and consult your local animal control agency.

Seriously.. Im Missouri we eat them, they taste nothing like chicken. They are completely really dark meat, 4 times as dark as the dark part of a chicken and taste extremely wild.
Takes practice to cook them right to be able to eat them. Boil 3/4 done then slow grill cook and bbq. When boiling.. it foams up like it has laundry soap in it.
