KHD100: For the most part, yes. used to be an avid reader aswell. When we left Quebec, I left behind 3,230 paper backs. (this does not includthe hard covered books.)
Holy moly.. the reason I asked is because several years ago, they filmed the Steven King movie Needful Things in Gibsons, and if you watch it, when the part comes up where the two guys are fighting outside the bar, off in the distance, you can hear what sounds like a car taking off without a muffler on it, well that was me driving, and yup I was driving a nova, and it had no muffler on it (stupid thing fell off driving down to Lower Gibsons)

When they were filming the movie, they had built the church right over top of the towns info centre, and I was driving taxi at the time. Well I had to pick up a couple of elderly ladies from the ferry and drive them into Lower Gibsons, as we began passing the (now) church, one of the ladies noticed it and said, "Look, there's a church there now", and I said, well yea, it's called progress, she then asked about the pine tree that grew outside the info centre, and I said, they kept it, now it's inside the church for when they have christmas mass.. the other elderly lady started giggling, so the first one asked if I was pulling her leg, and I said all the way to Sechelt..then I told her the truth..and get this.. she called me a brat, and cuffed me in the back of the head... go figure

When I am at work, a couple of co workers like to come up behind and talk to me. Because I am thinking about what I am doing, it's very easy to scare the ..... out of me.
Safety officer has been slapped a couple of times. One time I was asking a co worker a question and the safety person walked up behind us and scared the .... out of me, I screamed and automatic reflex..... was to slap. The back of my hand was swollen for 3 days.
It's a good thing I do not have a rolling pin.

My family was watching a movie about Snakes.... I am terrified of them, so I went into the kitchen to get away from seeing them on the tv. My oldest decided to come up behind me, touched me on the back of my neck and when did that "ssssss" snake sound. He took off real quick, but I got him with my slipper.

thats funny.. you'd hate to watch a scarey movie with me then, I have a REAL bad habit of when I'm watching a good scarey movie with someone, just as it gets to the point where you know something is going to happen, I'll reach over, quickly grab ahold of you, and scream ..AHHHHHYou'd be amased just how many people I got that came VERY close to pissing themselves..and yes I have got belted for it more than once
