you see, the beauty of buddhism is that is presupposes no god at all. It is merely a philosophy of living, not a set of weird ideas about creation or a group of arbitrary rules. For this very reason, buddhism is the only religion which can coexist with all of the science which has utterly defined the origin and nature of the universe. There is no better means of living, adn i can tell you, America needs buddhism right now. It is anti-materialist, and with global warming the way it is now, we need to get rid of our materialist culture. Hope you folks see the beauty of Buddhism. Any comments, he says waiting for a barrage of christian rhetoric... and, say hey for all those great soldiers who fought in WW I and II. happy memorial day, Joshua
I am currently reading the works of Nicharin Dishionin, and I find Buddhism a very difficult theology to follow. I believe there are parts of Buddhism that I can accept...but coming from a Christian background, other parts seem hard to digest.
I am on a different computer right now...waiting for repair to mine, so If I missed spelled Dishoinin, I am sorry
