To be honest i do understand people not putting pics on here,for various reasons ,however after talking for a while there is no excuse for not sending a pic to your private mail. No pic , no meet In my opinion

On a serious note though, I won't meet anyone without a pic.. I want to see several pics and speak to them on the phone and get a bloody good vibe from them before meeting. If they come across pushy in any way whatsoever, I will not meet them.

the problem i find is that even though i have had good vibes over the phone/cam/ email it doesnt quite equal the element of the chemistry... so far it hasnt been there for me. even though it appeared to be

I don't know if it comes under that judge a book by its cover and yes some people have very ligitimate reasons for not putting up there picture as long as they are willing to send you one after you have gotten to know them its cool.
Its what is behind the picture you want to know I think not the picture.

Yes your right emailing and talking on the phone I think is the best way to meet someone before you meet them is good yes and msn then you go with your feelings
