Why does it say .. (7)

Would somehow be more correct if it said "seeking a woman" or "seeking a man", for most of us at least.
And... while this IS a dating site, I would have felt better if there was a simple "seeking someone" "seeking truth" "seeking extraterrestrials" or even “where is that darn key now then”
