It works both ways, any man or any women (if they are the right one) can change you into the person you have always wanted to be because they make you want to do that. You have to be careful also that it does not change you negatively though, cause a man/women can do that to you too.

People do stereotype , it's the way we are. For instance , if I dress in ragged jeans , tshirt and flip-flops , I'm not gonna get a second look from the debutante type. Because I'm not what she's looking for. She's from a rich family , and accustomed to nice things. If I'm dressed like a bum , she thinks a bum cannot support her lifestyle , she doesn't want to be a bum's wife. Now , if I'm at the beach , where that attire is common , I have a chance.

If you were dressed in a suit , would you fit in at a biker bar? They are not into suit types.

It's all in what we are looking for.

(Please don't catch me for stereotyping. I know ALL debs are not this way , and ALL bikers are not. You can never say ALL of anyone are anything. It's the vast majority that I'm stereotyping. )

Nobody said anything about wanting to change who men are, you have to want to change then you do. Everybody canges certain things. Sometimes whether you want to or not you do, because of the situation you are in.

your right gravedigger22 but until our society changes its views we can never evolve past what i call our "dark age". we have brains and intelligence and far surpass the other species on this planet but in someways we act like our prehistoric ancestors(being afriaid of what we dont know is one way) our society should have made advancements by now that would wipe out diseases and hunger but instead we are way behind where we should be. our society is peety and childish and thats why oneday it will cave in on itself. something i wish to help change, but too many people are too closed mined on things(like polltion, global warming, recycling)

somethings change like not being to go out with friends because you have to take you kid places but the person should still stay the same. the person should not change who they are. and why would we want to change? nothings wrong with us. if your with a guy then just accept him, so what if he has an annoying habit can you say that you dont have one that annoys him? i've never asked a girl to change her habits but i've been asked by girls, why is that?

I can't answer that for you, all I can say is some people are one way when you meat them and suddenly things change. I was with a guy who had a drink here and there, then suddenly he started drinking everyday and smashing up his truck(drunk) coming in all hours to the point he could not stand(I had to practically carry him to the couch).

Now which person was he?

Did I have a right to ask him to stop?

well i dont know which person he was, sorry that happened to you but if he did hurt you and was messing your place up then yes you have a right to ask him to stop but i think he had issues with things that lead him to do this. but personally if i had a girl who was like that id just leave she would know way in advance i dont tolarate those things if she started doing them id say that was a sign she didnt want to be with me.
i'd just tell her look you've changed into someone i dont wish to be with i wanted the girl who i feel in love with not what you have become.
personally i dont like it when people do that change after you meet them, the reason i wanted to be with them was because of who they are when they change(alot i mean) they are no longer the person i want.

That is why I left! To me after 9yrs, I gave him the opportunity to become the person he once was(was not till I left he realized, because I don't think he thought I would). He chose not too, so that was the end. I do not make anyone do anything! I give them a choice, then the choice is mine.

thank you on your comment. i don't think i could change a guy , why change the inside if you are comfortable with one's self? would you change a tree or the sky to your liking ? people who wants to change another person is someone who wants it to their liking or someone who wants to be a controlling person (my opinion) entitle to it ) . im sorry but to me I can't and won't change a person to my liking . that's like hey you change for me or you never will see me again and I can't do that to another human being. I mean if they had a drug habit sure I will try to get them the help they need or if they have a drinking habit , than sure I will help them get the help they need too. I guess to say I'm too much of a nice person to tell another person what to do.or to change a person to my liking . It's not really fair on the human being. so I guess to say im not a stero type . never will be . have a great day angel

Ok , if you don't want to stereotype , answr this:

Would you rather walk among hundreds of murderers , known to be guilty ?

Or walk among the same amount of Boy Scouts?

Of course, not all murderers are bad . Some had a good reason to kill , because some people really do deserve killing ! (more discussion on this , I'm sure ) . And not all Boy Scouts are good , either. But for me , I gotta go with the percentages.

I would rather take the time to get to know them, then I can make my decision.
