Thanks matehug
The scary thing after that was the court case as it was based on less than a second and if I had of lost I would be in over 1 million dollars debt now..
I signed for the solicitor to go ahead with the case and those 4 years when I layed my head on my pillow at night was so mind consuming and I was so exhausted!
Anyways Kane is fine financially till his 99yrs old and I signed his money over to his 2 older bros and an excellent financial advisor..
I was entitled to alot of money but I knocked it back as to me I nursed my son back for many months from the love at the bottom of my soul..Not flamin money!
Im still working now exhausting hours but hey their are people much worse off!
But his 18 now and his on facebook and his so popular and now he wants to ask a gal out!
Im scared that she dont realise his brain damaged..
Kane is looking forward to moving in with his older bro in their bachelor pad LOL!
This is the reason I taught myself a pc and joined sites as I so needed contact with the outside world before I went back to work!

OMG, Mercedes. That is just horrible, i couldn't possibly imagine what you and your son are going through. I am so glad you decided to join us even if it is just an outlet for some sanity (some of us are just insane though, he he). You really deserve some me time so i hope this helps and i wish you all the best with your son. hug kiss

Well i just got back in from the doctors with Braith, my 5yo. He fell out of bed last night (the top bunk) and has been carting his shoulder around all day. I am not sure what time this happened as I sleep down the other end of the house and didn't hear a thing. Rhydian, 13, got up and put Braith back to sleep in his bed and Rhydian climbed into the spare bed. I got up this morning to the story and monitored him for a while before deciding to get him to the doctor. I probably sound negligent but he has been so good, no tears and he doesn't even appear to be in pain and has even been joking about it. We were supposed to go out for the day to Daylesford and he cracked it big time when I said that we had better go to the doctors instead, lol. He was great, even the doctor was playing around with him and Braith was giving the doctor a lesson in slings, and the doc said how smart he is and he was flirting with the nurses, lol. He went for xrays so i thought he may be a bit scared not knowing what to expect but again he was fabulous, joking around with the radiologist. I told him he had to smile for his bone photos so he was standing there with the biggest grin. We just got home and he immediately started gloating about being the first kid in the family to break a bone and the other 2 were absolutely rapt for him, lol. He is such a trooper!! laugh I just got another serve from him for not letting him go over to the paddock to play??!! He has cried more about not being allowed to do anything than the broken bone already, it is going to be a long couple of weeks!! uh oh laugh

this one for me, is both sad and happy at the same time...

Back in the year of 1999, I found out I was pregnant. The approx. due date was 1 January 2000. A few weeks later, I lost that baby through miscarriage. A few months passed by, only to find out I was pregnant again. This time, the due date was 10 April 2000.

Everything was fine through this pregnancy, apart from my usual morning routine of gettin' outta bed, barf , and continuing on with my day.

At the same time as me being pregnant, (on both occasions) my grandmother (the one whom I had to live with for a few years) was very sick. She'd had several strokes and could no longer walk or talk.

Eventually she passed away on the 3rd April 2000. Three days later, on 6th April 2000 we had the funeral...

Then, that night, I went into labour, and had my daughter on 7th April 2000 at 12:21pm. She was a spittin' image of my grandmother....

My Dad was very close to his mother, as was I and to this day my belief is that there was a reason that my daughter was born so close to my grandmother passing away....

Iodine crystals and concentrated ammonia?

Pockets66: Did my first stint in gaol for arson. Me and my mate set fire to Broome (the town not the cleaning implement). Got caught and the cops slung us in the cells for a few hours - age 3.

Playing chicken, jumped out in front of car waving arms like an idiot. Loud noise - unmarked police car, got hiding from mum - age 7.

Got knocked off for speeding on push bike. Doing 85 in 70 zone, great tail-wind a bit down hill. Over took car, unmarked police car, parents to collect pump and tyre vavles from police station - age 12.

Almost blew up a police car (by accident, honest). Threw a home made bomb just as police car came around the corner. Bomb detonates one or two feet in front of bumper. They didn't catch me that time, you can run on water when you clear a fence and land in a pool if your legs are moving fast enough age 13.

Tried to blow up the tough girls dunny at high school. Made a low powered contact/pressure explosive with mate's chemistry set and painted the underside of the toilet seats. When sat on gives off loud bang. Police investigated but didn't know it was us, science teacher did but fortunately didn't rat but politely suggested we stop. Also suggested we stop making hydrogen sulphide (rotten egg gas)outside schools air-conditioning intakes - age 15.

Questioned by police when standing in mate's front yard one evening pointing high powered rifles into night sky. Managed to convince them that we were actually looking at comet Hale-Bopp though the best optics we had, our telescopic rifle sights and due to overhanging trees it couldn't be seen from the back yard. Once they also saw it through the scopes they decided not to arrest us - age 32.

My parents despaired, my ex thought I was nuts.
My kids and their friends think I'm a god.

One of my kids touched a stinging nettle the other day. It triggared an memory of mine. ::

When I was about 6 or 7, We had a bee hive box in the back yard. My mother told me not to annoy the bees! So what do you think I went and done?
I lifted the lid of the box, than slammed it down, then a whole swarm of bees attacked me. I ran up to the house, with the swarm still chasing me. I got stung on my earlobes, face, arms legs. My mum said i had to throw out my favorite mickey mouse t'shirt cos it was full of stingers. She told me that all the bees that stung me will die, because it rips their bum out.
crying
I have never been stung since!laugh
