Had an interesting discussion about this with a friend of mine recently. She has one son, 11 yrs old and says she wouldn't date a guy with kids. Then we went on to name the amount of men we know who have kids but won't or don't see them for whatever reason, and wondered were the two linked at all (i.e., guy can't get a girl if he has kids and therefore denies the kids he has). Has to be said the discussion was conducted with the assistance of a few beers and in the early hours!!! 
My brother has 2 kids that live with him half the time, and he has a very nice girlfriend, herself a single mom. Myself, I'd have no problem with a guy with kids - i think it says a lot about him, cos I know what my brother went through to get access etc to his. If a guy puts his kids first, he's worth getting to know. And he'll get a woman worthy of him, even if it takes a while. Seriously - would you want to be with a woman who didn't want to get to know your kids?

Definitely not! Kids first always, although my kids didn't like my last two girlfriends so that can cause a problem in itself! 
Anyone who denys their kids isn't worth getting to know!!! (and I've been with a guy who denied his kids - it turned out he was still with his wife and cheating on her with me!!!!)
I find kids (especially as they get older, ie teens) get very territoral about their Mum/Dad so tread carefully

Especially teenage girls! Boys not so bad, I have one of each, what joy I have to look forward to!!! Seriously, I'd have to date a girl for a while before I'd let her and my kids meet, which is difficult at times when one lives with me, but not impossible!
