from colours, the grey a drop..

exchange the flesh,

Jesus lads very deep stuff, heres someth I wrote which is not exactly heavy writing, just a big slush fest. I call it, Ode to Gera


yellow morning light penetrates through my gritty lids,
I feel the warmth of a new day but still half linger in the nights
sleep,
the night that steals you from your reality and casts you into a land that you cannot control,
a land of painterly dreams from a pallet of colours we cannot grasp in our day world,
colours that once painted do not accept their given form but morph into many others,
But my heart does not dwell contentedly in that other realm,
but dwells here in the morning time,
I feel the warmth of his arm curling aound my bare waist and know that this is not only where I belong but where I am meant to be,
he remains in deep slumber but holds me tight to his chest, as if I was some precious prize
his breath tickles the nape of my neck sending tendrils of my hair dancing,
as if worshipping the few beams of early light that dare to spread across us like melting butter ,
Then I awake, the room cast in inky shadows, and a vicious icy breeze nipping at my exposed right foot,
But still,
his arm around my bare waist and his breath tickling the nape of my neck.

He is my dream,&, my reality.
